Taste test: We reviewed Double Stuf Oreos (actually a mint version) in the past and were disappointed to find that there wasn't really double the creme of regular Oreos, so when we discovered this Mega Stuff version, it seem like a chance for Oreo to stand up and deliver. Instead, it holds firmer, like a malleable sugary cement -- the only way that its massive frame can stay sustainable. And at those quantities, the saltiness and chocolatey flavour of the Original cookies properly balances the sweetness of the creme. Double Stuf has long been the creamiest option for those who love the vanilla filling, but it's since been unseated by the Mega Stuf.

But when I walked over to the display, I was surprised to notice another package I had never seen before: Most Stuf OREO which made the claim to “thrill with nearly four times the filling as the beloved classic. And yes, that includes the inevitable massive ‘mallow mantle that aggregates in the bottom fifth of the box, below the cereal pieces and above the dense cereal dust core. The worst part about this product: I’ll be at a friend’s house, notice a package of these on their shelf. This combinasion is usually indicating that you should stay away from this food labeled as "Junk Food".At this point, it’s still one cohesive cookie that provides that cloud of cookie flavor binding together with the creme to create one of the most-loved flavored in the shared American palate. So while I’m beyond happy that new Mega Stuf Oreo O’s bring the cereal back to its Extreme Creme glory days, I have to keep in mind these changing cultural conceptions surrounding Stuf. But in this case, I applaud the manufacturers’ restraint; any more creme would go beyond reasonability. The flavor brings the fudge and the fun combining the iconic ingredients found in an ice cream sundae into one flavorful scoop. It’s true that the sweet taste from the higher creme ratio in the Thins or Double Stuf is delicious.
